Herb Jones, Pelicans Agree To New Contract

The Pelicans and Herb Jones have agreed to a four-year, $54 million extension that keeps him here through 2027-28.

Herb Jones has been turning out to be a solid piece for New Orleans, which is why they wanted to extend him to a longer deal. They did so by declining his option, still keeping him an RFA, and negotiating a contract to both sides’ liking.

He has become one of the best defensive wings in this league.
