Jevon Carter signs with new team after getting waived by Brooklyn!

Only a day, if that, for the former Brooklyn Net was able to reach a deal. It was reported yesterday that the Nets were signing free agent Goran Gragic, all they needed to do was to make room for him. That came at the expense of Jevon Carter, who was cut for roster room.

Per ESPN, Carter is the second perimeter player to sign with the Bucks after getting cut. The first? DeAndre’ Bembry.

The Bucks were trying to sign Dragic, but got beaten out due to the chemistry and likability of Steve Nash. Good news for Carter, the Bucks needed someone to replace Donte DiVincenzo (traded to the Kings). Plus, Pat Connaughton is out for several months due to surgery on his hand.

The 26-year-old is averaging 3.6 points in 12 minutes per game this season when playing for the Brooklyn Nets.
