Dragic-Nets ink up deal that signs him for the remainder of the season!
Lakers, Warriors, Clippers, Bucks, Bulls, they all had their shot to signing the veteran guard; but in the end, the Nets were able to persuade the 35-year-old to join them in their quest of a championship. His agent did confirm that the former Raptor-player has signed with Brooklyn.
Dragic originally played with the Toronto Raptors until he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs at the deadline, however, a contract buyout was initiated and a couple weeks later he signs a contract with Brooklyn.
Brooklyn has made many moves as they are going all-in on the re-take of the season. Many trade moves and many free agency moves have been made by this team to show that they still have faith in this group. Plus, they are re-centering their mindset to a more winner mentality. Past 20 games have been a difficult stretch, let’s hope that this team can get back to their winning ways come the late-second-half of this season.
UPDATE: Nets add Dragic officially add him through releasing of a guard
Jevon Carter, formerly a Phoenix Sun until traded to Brooklyn last NBA Draft, has been waived by the team. Carter is now scheduled to become a free agent.
