Mac McClung Wins NBA Dunk Contest

This got many people in their feelings after witnessing Mac McClung, the man who is innovating the dunk contest, win again. Not only did he do it again, he did it back-to-back.

Jaime Jaquez Jr., Jaylen Brown, and Jacob Toppin had good dunks but couldn’t take down the G-League’s McClung. This dunk contest was judged on creativity, how clean each dunk was, the number of attempts, and executing it with great speed and force.

Again, these competitors were good. They scored very high; however, McClung took it to another level. The 25-year-old started creating dunks fans have never seen before.

Then he casually dunked over two men stacked on each other, executed flawlessly. Even Shaq was used throughout this contest, with McClung scoring the only 50 given across the board. Funny enough, him dunking over Shaq gave him the win over Brown.

When asked if he’d return to the next All-Star Break and try to secure a three-peat, the Osceola Magic player said, “I’ll never say never.” I guess fans will have to wait to see what the absolute gravity defier will decide.
