According to Chris Haynes, the Miami Heat again suspended Jimmy Butler for violating team policy. This time, it was for missing the team’s flight to Milwaukee on Wednesday.
The suspension will last for two games, seeing him miss Thursday’s game against the Bucks and Saturday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets.
This suspension comes after recently serving a team-imposed seven-game suspension. Butler only returned for three games before being reprimanded again.
There is a strong expectation that he will no longer be a part of Miami’s organization until the trade deadline. Per multiple reports, Butler is willing to be a part of any organization, as long as it isn’t Miami or the Memphis Grizzlies.
