Schroder is here to stay in Houston… most likely?

When the Rockets were completing a trade with the Celtics, many players were sent over to them in exchange for Daniel Theis. Theis used to play for the Celtics, so it was good for them to have a reunion in a way.

In that trade, one of the main pieces the Rockets got was Schroder. Speculation was surrounding everyone that was concerned with Schroder and if both sides would work out a buy-out agreement. However, things went into a positive direction.

Fear no more! Both sides are unlikely to advance in buy-out talks; that means that Schroder is here to stay until this season is over. When this season is over, then he will be able to leave – if he wants to.

Until then, expect to see more Schroder for the rest of the season.

In three games for the Rockets, he has averaged 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists in 29 minutes per game.
