According to Marc Stein, it looks like the Chicago Bulls will have another season with Zach LaVine. His trade value is at an all-time low.

The hope is that LaVine can take next season and get his stock back up at a tradable level, which is possible if he meets the standards tagged to the amount of money he is commanding.

Chicago has maintained a large asking price for the 29-year-old, but that had its downfalls when teams – like the Los Angeles Lakers – saw it to be too much for a third option and opted out. LaVine’s contract, injury history, and positioning on a team all contributed to team’s opting out.

He averaged 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in 34.9 minutes. Last season, LaVine only played in 25 games.

In a recent interview with Andscape’s Marc Spears, Stephen Curry spoke on many subjects surrounding him and his career; the one that caught the attention of many was his future in the NBA and with the Golden State Warriors.

Will Curry remain with Golden State for the remainder of his career? Yes, but it’s on one condition: the franchise isn’t a bottom-feeding team. In other words, they don’t get stuck in a rebuilding phase that kills all aspirations of playoffs and competing for championships.

“I want to win. Let’s put it this way, it’s a longwinded way of saying that it if it is a situation where you’re a bottom feeder and it’s just because you want to stay there, I’d have a hard time with that. But I don’t think that’s going to be the reality.”

The 36-year-old has spoken about his future before, especially being able to be on a team that wins. So, that isn’t new. The only new thing he added was being on a bottom-feeder team, as Golden State did endure a rough stretch of that before winning the 2022 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics.

Curry is heading into the third year of his four-year contract, as he’ll be an unrestricted free agent in 2026-27. That’ll make him 38 years old.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Andrew Nembhard has decided to sign a three-year extension to continue his partnership with the Indiana Pacers.

He will make $59 million over the next three years, as Nembhard was entering the final year of his contract.

The 24-year-old was a significant factor in Indiana’s success, with Tyrese Haliburton injured, and even when he came back, management appeared to be happy with him by making him a serious rotational player.
