According to both Chris Haynes and ESPN’s Shams Charania, Jimmy Butler will be making his return to the Golden State Warriors Monday night for their highly anticipated Game 4.
Butler was a full participant in Monday morning’s shootaround, which increased his chances of playing a lot.
“Jimmy Butler is doing everything possible to try to play tonight in Game 4,” said Shams Charania on NBA Today. “They’re optimistic he will be able to play.”
The veteran star suffered the deep glute muscle contusion in Game 2, where Amen Thompson collided into Butler. Fans saw him fall from terrifying heights, which required him assistance to the locker room and no longer available for the game.
In addition to the pain of the injury, Butler has been limited in his mobility. However, he will try to push through it all in Game 4.
Golden State holds a 2-1 series lead over the Houston Rockets.
