Today could be the day to see Anthony Davis return to the LakeShow!

Today could be the day to see Anthony Davis return to the LakeShow! Anthony ‘Glass-Man’ Davis could be back after his 16-game absence. He has been upgraded to questionable for today’s game against the Heat. Frank Vogel, head coach of the Lakers, will make the final call as it will be a game-time decision.

For the past five weeks, Anthony Davis has been out due to a sprain MCL in his left knee. All the Lakers care about is having him back and hoping to get back onto their winning ways again. Mainly because they are 7-9 without him as we was contributing 23 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. That is significant.

The Lakers will be taking on the Heat today, Sunday, as it is set for 6:10 PM EST. Los Angeles’s record is 23-23, Miami’s record is 29-17.

According to the Dallas Mavericks, the organization plans on reevaluating their newly acquired Anthony Davis in two weeks.

Davis suffered a left adductor strain in his debut game against the Houston Rockets on February 8th. Dallas says he is making good progress through recovery.

It remains unclear when he will return to the Mavericks.

According to Marc Stein, Anthony Davis and the Dallas Mavericks will consider all treatment options for his latest injury. This ranges from rehab to surgery to repair the adductor strain.

Sunday night, reports came out that Davis was set to miss up to a month. Now, Stein, along with others, are spearheading reports that the 31-year-old might need surgery.

Overall, the team and Davis will focus their discussions on treatment without surgery. The surgery option will be discussed and decided upon by Monday.

Lakers Were Tired Of LeBron James & Anthony Davis Publicly Complaining

According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, the Los Angeles Lakers grew “frustrated” with LeBron James and Anthony Davis complaining about upgrading the roster.

It grew when the two stars began publicly airing their concerns and frustrations. LeBron always believed they were a move or two away from legit contention, while Davis wanted to go back to playing power forward once they acquired a center.

The organization took it into its hands to solve the complaints by trading Davis to get Luka Doncic.

Los Angeles felt that Davis, who is 31 years old, wasn’t a “1-A” talent and couldn’t be trusted due to his durability and availability issues.

Marc Stein reports that the Dallas Mavericks were only interested in Davis, not LeBron James. Dallas came to Los Angeles with the deal, as general manager Nico Harrison has strong ties to Davis due to their relationship at Nike.
