Trade talks expand as Harden wants out!

Trade talks expand as Harden wants out! Reports, rumors, and Harden’s own words have made it clear: That he wants out. The Houston Rockets have been taking under consideration and is now expanding their trade talks to anyone that wants Harden; not just Philly or Brooklyn.

Reports are coming out that many teams from both conferences, which are known as playoff-caliber contenders, have expressed interest in Harden. They also been getting to higher-level of trade assets to acquire Harden; which is something the Rockets would want considerably in return.

Now, here is the flip slide and a very big and troubling issue, with Harden there is no insurance. Meaning this, that if a team does trade for Harden there is no assurance that he would resign after his two-years are up.

That troubles many teams because they don’t want to take a risk, try to make it work, than it does not pay off. That would hurt them considerably and could end up losing even more draft picks and players.

While they have other teams willing to pay up, the two teams Harden wanted to go to might not happen. The 76ers have been keeping an open mind with the idea of trading Simmons; but recent reports are saying that Daryl Morey does not want to do that.

The Nets are limited by the Rockets’ interest in their personnel and would need a third team to come in and contribute to the deal. The Nets also do not want to trade their bigger assets, like Kyrie and/or KD. That has been made clear and specified.

What also is driving this conversation nowhere would be their asking prices; teams are not fond of the steep prices that the Rockets want. They’re asking for young players and many draft picks.

The bridges are burned…

Bridges connected to the Rockets and James Harden is over, how? By the looks of the contract they did offer him a while back for two-years worth $103 million dollars. That contract would have been an extension going towards the three-years worth $133 million. If he would have accepted that contract; he would be sitting at $233 million dollars over the next five years.
