Zion Williamson (Leg) Out Friday’s Game Against Kings
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the New Orleans Pelicans will play against the Sacramento Kings without Zion Williamson.
In Tuesday’s Play-In loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Williamson left late in the fourth quarter due to “left leg soreness,” but he never returned, looking extremely frustrated as he exited the bench.
After further imaging, it’s been determined to be a left hamstring injury. He’ll be reevaluated in two weeks.
This is a killer to New Orleans; he went toe-to-toe against LeBron James and was pretty successful. He blossomed with 40 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.
