According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Phoenix Suns and point guard Collin Gillespie have come to terms on a new contract extension worth $48 million over four years.
Gillespie joined the Suns on a two-way contract ahead of the 2024-25 season, as last offseason, he re-signed with them on a one-year veteran minimum contract that saw him earn $2.3 million.
His new contract now sees him earning $12 million a year.
Phoenix had made re-signing Gillespie a priority this offseason, as the 26-year-old fits the team’s scrappy style of play under head coach Jordan Ott.
