Wizards GM clears up the John Wall situation!

Wizards GM clears up the John Wall situation! Rumor has it that John Wall wants out of Washington; but after a few days of that the GM is assuring everyone that it wasn’t true.

Tommy Sheppard, after recent rumors of Wall wanting out, has stated that they have no attentions of trading Wall. Also, stating that Wall never requested a trade.

“No, he didn’t request [a trade],” Sheppard said when asked about a report that Wall had done so. “… John and I talk pretty much once every other day. And [I’ve] been to many of his workouts throughout the summer, we have always been on the same page, same wavelength. Same with Bradley [Beal].”

Throughout the video interviews and questioning, Sheppard kept saying nothing is wrong between the team and Wall. Whatever happens with Wall, happens, right? The last time he has played a game was on December 26th, 2018. It has been almost two years since playing a game.

That said, the Wizards are very hyped on what they are seeing from their All-Star guard.

“I’ve seen enough of him the last two years and certainly this summer to know that he’s gotten his explosiveness back,” Sheppard said. “… He’s very comfortable from 3 now and that is something that I think will be a huge weapon for us moving forward.”

Even though all the rumors, trade talk, setbacks, and defeat for the Wizards. We have to remember one positive thing that has blossomed and exploded into something great. Bradley Beal. Bradley Beal has been leading this team, the team has been going through him, he is the focus point of that team, not to mention being the overall leader.

Last season he was averaging stellar points and assists. For instance, on average for points: 30 points a night. Also, averaging 6 assists per game. The team can be heading in the right direction if, and only if, they get a good direction going. They figure out who to pair Beal with, plus if they want to continue $132 million dollars over the next three years to Wall. They only, to me, need a core of three players to lead this team. So many teams have done that in the past, why not them? With them collecting and swapping in this year’s NBA Draft and Free Agency; they could be something within the next few seasons, slowly but surely.

The reports about John Wall joining the Armani Milan are completely false, confirmed by the man himself.

In a now-deleted tweet by Dunk Central, John Wall responded by quoting their post: “Where Do Y’all Get Ur Info from? False News!!”

It appears that Wall will not be playing internationally as his eyes are still set on playing in the NBA.

Wall is a top remaining free agent with many speculating him to have a contract before training camp begins.

John Wall signs with the Clippers after agreeing to a buyout

The time has come for John Wall to be an active player and that time will come in Los Angeles. No, not for the Los Angeles Lakers. It is actually for the Los Angeles Clippers. One of the teams that were highly interested in the 31-year-old point guard has now emerged as top-dog.

After John Wall clears waivers, he will set his sights on signing a new contract with the Clippers. The Rockets and him agreed to a buyout after Wall agreed to give back $6.5 million of his $47.4 million dollar player option.

He will play for the first time in two seasons.

Since missing the past two seasons in the last three with Houston, John Wall is ready to talk buyouts. Houston is still not interested in giving the 31-year-old minutes, however, multiple teams are – if bought out.

John Wall opted into his $47.4 million dollar player option for the final year of his contract and is willing to give up some of that money for his release. That is where the situation has gone, tells you everything you need to know about this situation between Wall and Houston.

Good news, while the Rockets don’t see the value, other teams do. Teams such as the Clippers, Lakers, and Heat have reported interest with the point guard.
