Chris Paul making his probable return to the court tonight against the Nuggets
The Suns have confirmed that Chris Paul, who has been out since February, is returning to the court tonight. This is huge news as this will allow him to get some games in before the big games commence within the next few weeks.
Monty Williams said, while speaking pregame (per ESPN), Paul is most likely going to be on a minutes restriction. Which makes sense since he is coming back from fracturing his right thumb.
Since missing the last 15 games, Paul will make his much-awaited return as that is something this Suns’ squad has been waiting for. Not like they needed to rush him back, as the best team in the NBA has been solid without fail, but to have him back is like having your prime general back for the battle ahead.
The Suns can clinch the best record in the West, and best overall record, with a win or a Grizzlies loss to the Pacers tonight.
With Paul well rested, he can now come back and get back into basketball-ready condition for the postseason.
