Bradley Beal enters Health and Safety Protocols

The Washington Wizards will be without their top player for tomorrow’s preseason game versus the Charlotte Hornets. The good news for the Wizards is this: it’s just preseason and he doesn’t have an injury.

Reports came out, mainly per the Wizards, that Beal has been entered into the Health and Safety Protocols. Due to the standard ten days to get better and to get clearance to return, Beal’s return date could be their season opener against the Indiana Pacers. That game is on October 19th.

Washington, after the Hornet’s game, only has one preseason game left. That game is scheduled against the New York Knicks, which is this Friday.

Wizards will be relying on Will Barton and Johnny Davis more since there is no Corey Kispert (sprained ankle) and no Bradley Beal (H/S Protocols). Good news, again, this is just the preseason and not the regular season.
