Cam Johnson set to return to the Suns

The biggest news of the day has been announced as Cam Johnson is ready to come back and be another body for the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix will be taking on the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday.

It was revealed by head coach Monty Williams that Johnson would return for tomorrow night’s game against the Kevin Durant-less Nets. Johnson also confirmed this as well at Wednesday’s practice.

The starting forward has been out since November 4th with a torn meniscus, only playing 8 games this entire season. His last played game was a lost to the Trail Blazers (the Jerami Grant game-winner) with him leaving after playing five minutes and going 0-2 from the field.

While the Suns are missing many other players, like Devin Booker, it is a great sign and confidence booster to see Johnson back and the Suns be one step closer to a semi/fully healthy team.

Johnson is averaging 13.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists this season.
