Josh Richardson Signs With Heat

Former Pelicans, Spurs, 76ers, Mavericks, and Celtics player Josh Richardson is heading back to the team that gave him a shot at professional basketball.

Josh Richardson has agreed to a two-year deal with the Miami Heat, a team he hasn’t played for since 2018-19. He was included in the trade package for Miami to land Jimmy Butler.

Richardson has a player option in the second year of his deal.

His career averages are 11.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in 29.0 minutes.
