According to multiple reports, the South Bay Lakers will not be having Bronny James join them for their road games. He is only playing in home games, which is 24 games.
Per The Athletic, this is a decision Bronny made on his own. In his debut for South Bay, he only scored six points on 2/9 shooting.
There are rumors of the Los Angeles Lakers monitoring the 20-year-old to see if he will play any more games in the NBA; this depends on his progression throughout the G League’s five-month season.
After getting drafted by Rob Pelinka and the front office, Bronny signed a four-year, $7.9 million contract.
