Cam Johnson Out At least 6 Games
According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, the Brooklyn Nets will be without their starting power forward for at least 10 days.
If it is only 10 days, then he will be back to face the Boston Celtics. However, that is being very optimistic. The current timeline has stated “at least” and that is never good, especially an injury to the leg.
The 27-year-old is currently dealing with a calf injury, which was suffered during Brooklyn’s regular season opener on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. It’s believed to be a left calf strain diagnosed as a contusion.
An MRI has confirmed this diagnosis. It should also be mentioned he has dealt with hamstring and leg injuries before, most recently dealing with a hamstring strain.
In the one game he has played, he put up 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists on 50% shooting from the field.
