Per Bleacher Report, the Nets are ready to hold onto Durant if Booker is not included. An All-Star player must be included into the trade deal, but they want it to be Booker. Throughout all of these reports, Brooklyn wants Booker and they do not want Deandre Ayton.

A third-team may have to be involved so both sides can get what they want and what they want to get rid of. Earlier, Kevin Durant let the franchise know that he wants out and that he wanted to go to Phoenix. The Suns are his first choice as a landing spot.

Most likely the Suns will give up Mikal Bridges, not Booker, to meet the requirement of an All-Star caliber player. Many mock trades have KD and Joe Harris going to Phoenix in return for five picks, Bridges, and Deandre Ayton.

However, a third-team trade will have to happen to make it worth everyone’s wild.
