Nick Nurse and the Raptors reach a multi-year contract extension! The Raptors weren’t going to let their head coach walk away from the team after next season. The Raptors were going to do everything in their power to reach a deal, and guess what. They did!

Both Nick Nurse and the Raptors have confirmed about the multi-year contract, but didn’t reveal any of details of what the contract is worth and things like that.

The contract was signed in June 2018, a year left on his three-year contract. With this contract being signed, the Raptors should have him through the 2023 and/or 2024.

What has he done in the two seasons he was given with the franchise?

Huge, I mean huge, how? Well, his accomplishments for himself and for the team are outstanding. He won the 2019 NBA Championship for the Raptors, plus having more wins than any other team during that span. Plus, with some of the doubts from people about the Raptors this year, they had a better record then they did when with Kawhi. Well, halfway through the season.

Now for what he did for himself is epic. He won Coach of The Year this season, he is a three-time Coach of The Month winner, plus being one of the head coaches in this season’s NBA All-Star game.
