The Kevin Durant situation could be moving into training camp

This situation could be dragged into training camp as the Nets aren’t willing to take any offer just out there. Brooklyn also wants time to think this out and try to rebuild their relationship (in a way) with Durant; pretty much convincing him to stay with the franchise.

Per Brain Lewis of the New York Post, the quest to trade for Durant could be extended if Brooklyn doesn’t like their options. Despite many teams having good packages to give and ready to trade for Durant, the Nets are not bitting yet.

Toronto is ready to come in with the greatest trade package out of the Suns and everyone else that could offer the Nets something for Durant. But, there is a hesitancy. That would be what? Scottie Barnes. Yep, Barnes. They are not fully in on the idea of giving up their future for a potential run for the championship.

In short, offers are coming through but none of them are tickling the fancy of Brooklyn. With that being said, be patient as this situation could be over today, in a week, or during training camp. We will find out soon enough as more teams are intensifying these offers to persuade the Nets to give in.

Kevin Durant Set To Return Wednesday

It has been reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic that Kevin Durant, barring any setbacks, will be suiting up for the Suns in their game against the Timberwolves.

Reports announced Durant to be coming back to Phoenix for his home debut a couple of days ago, and now fans get a confirmation from Shams.

Kevin Durant has missed 10 games due to this ankle sprain and looks to be making his home debut against the Timberwolves; a very important matchup not only for the Suns, but for Minnesota.

Karl-Anthony Towns’ team is looking to get their third win in a row with Big KAT returning from his previous injury; same goes for Phoenix as they are looking to be 4-0 with Kevin Durant.

The Suns are 40-35 and the Timberwolves are 39-37 as the game begins Wednesday night at 10:00 PM EST.

After missing six games, it is being reported by The Athletic that Durant will be looking to make his return this Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. That game will be in Phoenix, which will mark his first home game as a member of the Phoenix Suns.

His potential return Wednesday marks exactly three weeks since he suffered the ankle sprain. Durant hasn’t played since March 8th.

If Kevin Durant does return Wednesday, then the Suns will have to play three more games – Kings, 76ers, Jazz – without him. The better news being Phoenix has seven games remaining once Durant returns.

The Suns are 3-0 with Kevin Durant on their roster.
