The Magic has traded Aaron Gordon to the Nuggets! Yep, you read that correctly. The Magic and Aaron Gordon saga is over as he is being shipped to Denver. The rumors are over and the Magic are in complete rebuild right now.
Here is the trade: The Nuggets are trading Gary Harris, RJ Hampton and a first-round pick to the Magic for Aaron Gordon. What a huge pickup for the Nuggets, how? Because now you have Murray, MVP-candidate Jokic, and now Gordon along with other players. That is pretty solid and should make them a definite playoff-contender.
However, things did not go well for Gordon-Magic!
Frustrations, trade requests, and a horrible fallout is what led to this. Now, here from Aaron Gordon himself on this trade:
“There’s been times where I just expressed my frustration to management,” Gordon told reporters. “Frustration with the losses, the injuries, the way we’ve been playing and how many losses have accumulated over the years. So it’s just my frustration kind of boiling over I would say. … I think a lot of people share that sentiment with me, of frustration.”
The Magic has traded away four players, and he was the fourth. The notable players so far is Fournier, Vuevic, and Gordon.
