According to the New Orleans Pelicans, they will be without Herb Jones for the foreseeable future after he suffered a torn labrum in his right shoulder.

The injuries continue to plague this organization, as Jones is the latest to suffer an injury. With this injury, he is out indefinitely. However, there is no set timeline for his return.

Jones, who is 26, has missed 18 games this season. In the 20 games he has played, Jones is averaging 10.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.9 steals.

According to the Philadelphia 76ers, Jared McCain will be shut down for the remainder of the season after further reevaluation by the surgeon who did the operation.

Rookie McCain suffered a torn meniscus and had the procedure on December 17th, as Philly said the recovery was going well. However, they will be indeed resting him until next season.

At one point in this season, the 20-year-old was considered Rookie of the Year due to his impressive performances throughout the 23 games.

In those games, McCain averaged 15.3 points off 46.0 FG%, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.

On November 13th, fans saw McCain get a career-high 34 points and a career-high 10 assists against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He won Rookie of the Month for the Eastern Conference in November.

According to Chris Haynes, the Orlando Magic are set to have Paolo Banchero return to the starting lineup Friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Banchero has not played since October 30th, where he has missed 33 games this season.

The 22-year-old suffered a torn oblique and has been recovering ever since. Rehab went amazingly, as Banchero would return for Thursday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves or today’s game against the Bucks.

The young rising star averaged 29.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.6 assists in his five games before getting injured.

The Magic are fourth in the Eastern Conference. Orlando is 22-17.
