According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Sacramento Kings are signing Killian Hayes to a 10-day contract. Since the trade deadline, the organization have had an open roster spot.

The 24-year-old has appeared in 28 G League games with the Cleveland Charge this season. In that run with the Charge, Hayes averaged 23.1 points, 8.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.7 steals.

By signing with the Kings, this will be his third team of his short career. For majority of his career, Hayes was on the Detroit Pistons, then he had a short stint with the Brooklyn Nets.

According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, the Sacramento Kings will be without De’Andre Hunter for the remainder of the season due to him undergoing eye surgery to repair a detached retina.

Hunter suffered the injury on February 6th against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 28-year-old is expected to make a fully recovery, no problems whatsoever, as a timeline for said injury will be announced in eight weeks.

Hunter only played in two games for the Kings this season, and, in those two games, he averaged 7.5 points and 1.5 rebounds.

After seeing the Phoenix Suns beat the Orlando Magic in a double OT showdown, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Dillon Brooks has suffered a broken left hand. His injury came after playing seven minutes in Saturday’s game.

While he is expected to miss some playing time, the 30-year-old is set to meet with Phoenix’s team doctors to determine the severity of said injury and how long he will be out for before a potential return to the starting lineup.

In his first season with the Suns, Brooks is averaging 20.9 points, 3.7 rebounds,1.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. Combine this with his stellar defensive skills, this has been a career-defining year for the veteran.
