Mavs’ Porzingis to miss the rest of the series VS Clippers!
Mavs’ Porzingis to miss the rest of the series VS Clippers! This hurts big time for the Mavericks as their big man, Porzingis, is out with a right knee injury. The right knee injury would be a lateral meniscus tear In his right knee, this forces him to sit out the remainder of the first-round playoffs.
This has been an on-going injury as he suffered this injury since the start of Playoff Series verses the Clippers. Even though he hasn’t been fully healthy in Game 2 and Game 3; he was able to help his team in the rebounding and scoring category. That resulted in one win and one lose.
Now, what is interesting, is that he wasn’t listed as injured with a knee injury until a few minutes before the tip. That is when he started to experience soreness in his right knee, that was in Game 4. Then for Game 5, he just didn’t play. Listed out the morning of the game.
Porzingis knees are going down the drain, they really are. Between the torn ACL injury he suffered in 2018 with the Knicks (left knee), to have soreness all the time, not being able to get full blast some times, and to now having his right knee getting affected now. He hasn’t been the same, powerful, destructive layer we all knew before his torn ACL injury in 2018. He needs to rebound, especially after signing that HUGE contract a little while ago with the Mavs.
