James Bouknight EJECTED from basketball game!
Not the headline many of us were expecting to see this morning, however, I guess it had to come at some point in our basketball lives. The current Charlotte Hornet has gotten ejected from a basketball game; no, not an NBA game but a college game.
The former UConn player goes back home and watches a game, but there was also excitement outside of the game itself. In the second half of that game against Xavier, Boukknight was tossed from the game. Sitting court-side cost him huge as no one knows what caused the refs to eject the former UConn player.
All we know is that after he was ejected from court-side, he had different plans in mind. He left his seat and decided to crash the student section of UConn; Bouknight had no intentions of leaving and he made plans to stay.
Here is what Dan Hurley had to say about this:
“That was not an ideal scenario because we were playing bad and kind of melting down a bit,” UConn coach Dan Hurley said. “He got tossed. I didn’t really see what happened. And then I saw him again somewhere near the student section.”
