The Rocket’s GM, Rafael Stone, revealed that he suffered a sprained right ankle. This injury will be week-to-week; meaning, he will be re-evaluated each week until clear.

That is the current timetable; no set time since the MRI on Friday. He rolled his right ankle yesterday in a game against the Grizzlies.

Wood has been averaging 22 points and 10 rebounds per game this season with the Rockets. He has been a rising candidate for the All-Star Game and for the MIP Award.
