LaMelo Ball’s season is SHATTERED!
LaMelo Ball’s season is SHATTERED! Shatter may or may not be the correct word, however it’s reality. Look this is not a TMZ report, meaning, this is something huge for the organization and as a rookie.
So what is it? This is injury related and it has cost the season for Ball. LaMelo has suffered a fractured right wrist injury; he will be getting a second opinion, but most likely done for the season.
What hurts more is the fact they may not be able to make the playoffs, even with Hayward. Don’t get me wrong, the Hornets are okay. But, LaMelo added talent and interesting passing skills. Hayward can push a team, he’s healthy, but the Hornets have proven they can not be a one-man-wrecking-crew.
Also, to point out in the midst of things, that the ROY Award is in jeopardy. Ball was the front-runner to win this award and add to his impressive season; with him out of the way, the award is a toss up. Some people believe it could be Edwards with the electrifying games he is having now, or even Hailburton. That’s how I see it, but we can speculate on that later.
