What Bleacher Report and The Atheltic have reported may not be 100% accurate, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

This is a one-sided story, which means people have no idea how LeBron James feels about Kyrie or wants to play with him. Per McMenamin, Kyrie’s camp is leaking this all.

“This is a non-story,” said Dave McMenamin on ESPNLA on Monday. “If LeBron James had a different contract situation, perhaps we could begin to get into it. By me saying it’s a non-story, of course, The Athletic and Bleacher Report are not making up what they’re printing. But what they’re being told, clearly, this is not coming from LeBron James’ side of things. This is a one-man operation. This is from the Kyrie Irving camp.”

“LeBron James had absolutely nothing to do with this story,” added McMenamin.
