Russell Westbrook improves for opening night

I’ve got some good news for everyone that is a Lakers fan, or a Westbrook fan. Despite him having a sore left hamstring, expect him to play on opening night against the Golden State Warriors. Los Angeles will be lucky to have him back, in terms of bodies they can use, as Dennis Schroder is out indefinitely after undergoing thumb surgery and is stated to be out for multiple weeks.

So be prepared to see him playing some minutes on opening night against Curry and company. Also, LeBron James and Anthony Davis will be playing in Tuesday’s season opener. LeBron has been dealing with a sore left foot, while Davis has been dealing with low back soreness.

However, both players will be playing – barring any setbacks – with Russell Westbrook come Tuesday night at 7:00 PM Arizona time.

The game is set to kick off the 76th season of the NBA and see the Warriors receive their championship rings.
