Giannis goes back-to-back on MVP Award!

Giannis goes back-to-back on MVP Award! It has been announced that Giannis will be winning the MVP Award for two times in a row now. It has been predicted throughout the season that he was going to win, and now it has came to life.

The whole contest was between LeBron James and Giannis, it was down to the both of them. Even with LeBron in the conversation, people still went with Giannis.

Big man is joining SOME elite company!

Giannis is joining some elite company as there are several players throughout the NBA’s history on winning back-to-back MVP’s.

Here’s the list:

  • Michael Jordan
  • Wilt Chamberlain
  • Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
  • Bill Russell
  • Magic Johnson
  • Steve Nash
  • Stephen Curry
  • Moses Malone
  • LeBron James
  • Tim Duncan
  • Larry Bird

And now Giannis, this is a huge accomplishment for him.

LeBron James CAN’T DO NOTHING! What a landslide…

What a landslide for Giannis, not only did he dominant but he showed up “King” James. He won 85 out of the 101 votes, James came in second place. James received 16 votes for first place.

How about that? Well, LeBron. At least you have Anthony Davis to win yourself a title. He’s such a great player, but just couldn’t find the mark to get the award.

Now, what is next for Giannis?

Who knows, he has two options. He can either sign the super-max contract with the Bucks or find a new team in 2021. Whatever happens is going to be interesting, but right here and now. Could he win another MVP? He has been having this hot streak when the Bucks have been failing consistently, so could he win a third in a row?

Imagine where he would rank if he won that award for a third time in a row. What d you guys think? Do you think he is better then LeBron this year? Does he get another chance for a third one? Sound off in the comments below!

Giannis Antetokounmpo Undergoing More Tests On Injured Wrist

Team Giannis had to go the entire game without their captain due to his latest injury, Antetokounmpo only played 20 seconds in their win against Team LeBron. It was known that he was going to be on a minutes restriction, however, his wrist wasn’t up to another game so the team called it quits on Giannis.

His wrist was wrapped and said he was going to fight through it all the best he could, but the injury just gave in too much. It is being reported now that he will be seeking more tests as he is traveling to New York to get checked out.

He suffered the right wrist injury last Thursday against the Bulls, results came back negative when originally tested. Initial reports of the injury were minor.

More updates will be given when medical examiners can give their opinion, with supported data, in New York. CourtSideHeat will update this topic when more comes out.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is signing his supermax contract with the Bucks!

Giannis Antetokounmpo is signing his supermax contract with the Bucks! The day has come and it is official, he is remaining a Buck. News came out recently that the Bucks will be paying Giannis $228 million dollar for his super max contract. This contract goes for five years.

He broke the news originally through social media:

Also, here is the official statement from Giannis about this organization:

“This is a big moment for me and my family and I want to thank the Bucks organization for believing in us,” Antetokounmpo said in a statement Tuesday after the signing was official. “You took a chance on us eight years ago and now putting my signature on a contract like this is unreal.”

Speculation raising around the corners on what his plan was going to be in free agency, if coming to realization. Reports kept saying he was returning to the Bucks, recruitments were happening, etc. Needless to say that if Giannis decided to reject the. Offer; he would have been the hottest free agent on the market next year. Including the fact he would have been a unrestricted free agent.

Giannis is tearing up LeBron... in card auction value!

Giannis is tearing up LeBron… in card auction value!

Giannis is tearing up LeBron… in card auction value! Not only is Giannis stealing the MVP from LeBron James, but now crushing him in card values. A signed rookie card of Giannis sells for more than 1.8 million dollars.

Yep you read that correctly, the card sold for 1.812 million dollars. With this purchase becoming official, this surpasses the LeBron James Rookie card of 1.8 million. This makes the Giannis card the most expensive card to be sold in the modern era of history.

Now, you want to know the funny part? The guy that bought the rookie LeBron James card, which was six weeks ago, bought this card too. The same guy bought both cards, and it adds up to 3.6 million dollars.

The reason why this card is so special is because this has some of game-worn jersey from his rookie season in this card. Not only that, but this was graded a nine by Beckett. Also, it was his rookie season.

Either way you look at it. Whether that be that LeBron lost (again) to Giannis, or this guy just got a great piece of history. It is just incredible to see these type of cards to sell for that big of a price. Who knows, maybe a Michael Jordan or Luka Doncic (long-shot but sure why not) would go for millions to beat that price.
