Eric Gordon has the Suns and many other teams interested in trading for him

Eric Gordon’s trade value, and in general player value, has been pumping up a bit within the news cycle as many teams are looking to acquire the 33-year-old. Teams like the Suns, Lakers, Bucks, and Heat.

Teams interested have offered multiple first-rounders in a deal to get Gordon. Now the thing that everyone needs to understand here is that Houston is not in a rush to trade him. They are not in desperation-mode to trade Eric Gordon, it is quite the opposite.

Reports have been coming out about the Rockets potentially circling back to these offers and seeing if anything new has popped up. This could be later in the off-season or even at the deadline. Kind of a generalized timetable, however, that is where we are at currently.

Gordon signed a four-year, $76 million extension in 2019.

Zach Edey Missing Start Of Regular Season Due To Ankle Surgery

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Memphis Grizzlies will be without their young center due to him requiring surgery to re-stabilize his left ankle.

Zach Edey re-sprained his ankle during an offseason workout, which has forced him to make the tough decision to get surgery performed on that ankle.

With the timing of everything, reports are coming out that he will miss the beginning of next season.

“After consulting with the Grizzlies and multiple specialists, we decided this is the best approach for Zach long-term as it gets him back to 100% with no limitations,” Edey’s agent Mark Bartelstein said. “He will make a full recovery and be back better than ever.”

Last season, Edey averaged 9.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.

Suns Expected To Offer Devin Booker $150 Million Extension

According to Marc Stein, the Phoenix Suns are expected to offer Devin Booker a massive extension to entice him to stay through their latest rebuilding challenge.

Within the near future, Phoenix will offer Booker a two-year, $150 million contract. This will keep the franchise superstar under contract through the 2029-30 season.

The 28-year-old had a say in who his next head coach would be for the following season and beyond. This will be his eighth head coach in eleven seasons.

Booker continues to work off his existing extension he signed back in 2022 worth $200 million over four seasons. Once he signs this upcoming extension, he will be making $321 million over the next five years.

De'Aaron Fox Hopes To Sign New Contract With Spurs

According to multiple reports, ultimately confirmed by the man himself, De’Aaron Fox absolutely wants to sign an extension with the San Antonio Spurs to continue their partnership.

Fox is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, as he has completed his five-year, $163 million contract that he signed back in 2021 with the Sacramento Kings. This was his designated rookie contract.

The 27-year-old is eligible to sign a four-year, $228.6 million extension. There have been speculated rumors of both sides wanting this not to be a one-and-done type relationship.

Fox has been recovering very well from surgery on his left pinkie finger.
