Syracuse losses Jesse Edwards to devastating injury!

Their center is down and out for the season as their big-man has suffered a crushing injury. Literally and figuratively. Edwards suffered a fractured left wrist and he is destined to miss the remainder of the season. Tough for Syracuse who has been really needing him this season.

Despite the foul trouble, Edwards has been wonderful for this team. Syracuse is not wanting this, nor is he, and now it will be interesting what the team does without him.

Jesse Edwards has had the huge breakout season in his junior year, as losing him is a kicker. Currently, Syracuse is 13-11 on their overall record. Trying to stay alive for the NCAA Tournament.

Kansas completes the comeback to win the championship

One of the most thrilling, if not the thrilling, championship matches have happened today and it was electrifying. It was between North Carolina and Kansas as Kansas won the championship; both teams were heavily favored to win the championship, but it was given to Kansas. North Carolina has been putting up a fight by eliminating Duke to get to this moment.

Kansas dominated everyone, that was to be expected. Right? A number one team is expected to do that, so the stage was set for an epic match. It was a high-level contest after Kansas came back from being down by 16 points to win it in a down-to-the-wire thriller.

At half, it was 40-25 UNC. However, come the final 20 minutes of this game, Kansas turned itself into a beast. While North Carolina kept the pressure up, the Jayhawks found a way. The final 20 seconds of this game was punch-for-punch. Honestly, this game went back-and-forth, counterpunches, loaded punches, game-changers, and everything else thrown into this game.

In the end, UNC was outscored by Kansas. To be exact it was 47-29. Defense turned into offense created opportunities for Kansas; but the glass was being controlled by North Carolina. Like I have been saying, blows traded and received.

Without watching the game, no one will truly understand how significant this game was. This was an enjoyable game, an intense game, and no mercy given. History has been created and everyone in attendance will not forget this moment.

WINNER: Kansas, 72-69

Check out the highlights as you do not want to miss this. If you couldn’t see the game, then watch the highlights. Highly recommend as it was a blast of a game; love it!

Sean Miller has been hired by Xavier

After taking a year away from college basketball, the former Arizona head coach is back and at it. And guess what? Xavier has lured Sean Miller, who has been with the organization from 2001-09, to their program.

He has been announced, by the team, as head coach of the Musketeers. His options were between South Carolina and Xavier, Xavier was the team to go back to. Not just because he is most familiar with this program, but because of his history with the team.

From 2004-09, he went 120-47, made four NCAA Tournaments, a trip to the Elite Eight in 2008, and a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2009. He then opted to take his talents to Arizona, where he would have a similar resume of success.

Miller led Arizona to five Pac-12 regular-season titles and three Elite Eight appearances from 2011 to 2015. Plus, Arizona went to the NCAA tournament in seven of Miller’s first nine seasons, talk about success.

The program got caught up in controversy, investigations, and a lot of depleting stuff that ultimately left Miller without a job and taking a year off. Now he is back and ready to sign officially with Xavier.

Miller will be replacing already-fired Travis Steele, who could never take his team to a NCAA Tournament.
