Update on Malcolm Brogdon’s injury!

Yesterday the Pacers announced that their point guard will be week to week as Malcolm Brogdon tore his hip muscle.

The Pacers this year have been struggling with injuries as Victor Oladipo has been injured the past four of six games with right knee ailments and lower back issues, Doug McDermott has been dealing with an sore right toe, and then Jeremy Lamb who suffered injuries in his left season leaving him out for the remainder of the season.

Christian Wood third player tested positive for coronavirus

Since Friday the NBA has suspended all leagues including the NBA and G-League because Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell were tested positive for the virus.

It all started when the Jazz-Thunder game got postponed and Gobert was tested positive first then Mitchell and now it seems like Pistons player Christian Wood has come down with the coronavirus.

Wood, who will be set to be an NBA free-agent after this season, has been putting up 13 points per game, 6 rebounds per game, and 1 assist per game. Recently against the Jazz, he put up 30 points and 11 rebounds. His career-high scoring game came against the 76ers with 32 points, that was the last game of his season before the NBA shut down their league for 30 days.

The Warriors will be playing with no fans at home!

With the league sending memos to teams about not touching any pens, markers, balls, ETC. It has now escalated into no fans being permitted in arenas, and it starts with the Warriors home game against the Nets.

The coronavirus has been deadly, spreading throughout the entire world, and now it seems to be making its way towards the NBA and other sports leagues. It appears that Europe leagues and some colleges have been shutting down or postponing the games due to this virus.

It has been announced today that the Warriors will not be allowing fans to attend the stadium due to this outbreak, everyone who bought a ticket to the game or to any other events Chase Stadium is hosting will be refunded the exact amount they paid for.

“Due to escalating concerns about the spread of the coronavirus, and in consultation with the City and County of San Francisco, tomorrow night’s game vs. the Nets at Chase Center will be played without fans. Fans with tickets to this game will receive a refund in the amount paid.”

“All events at Chase Center through March 21 will be cancelled or postponed at this time. We’ll continue to monitor this evolving situation closely to determine best steps. We appreciate the understanding and patience of our fans, guests and partners.”

Magic coach Steve Clifford exits game with dehydration and dizziness!

The Magic had to play the rest of the game without their head coach Steve Clifford, because in the third quarter he was experiencing dizziness and dehydration. Tyrone Corbin, assistant coach, helped out by taking over the coaching spot in the second half.

Even though they beat the Timberwolves, 132-118, Aaron Gordon said during the postgame show that the team was “disorganized” and “more chaotic.”

“It’s tough, man, because he’s a big part of this, obviously and he’s really the heart and soul. Seeing him leave the sideline, I could actually feel it in how we started playing. We were a little bit more disorganized and much more chaotic without (Clifford). His health comes first, we’re looking out for him and praying for him.”

Over the night he was medically clear to keep coaching as he was released from the hospital, he was diagnosed with dehydration.
