Talen Horton-Tucker set to have surgery due to torn ligaments in his right thumb!
Talen Horton-Tucker set to have surgery due to torn ligaments in his right thumb! As stated in the title above, THT is down and out currently with a right thumb issue being resolved with surgery. The almost 21-year-old is looking for a huge leap this year for himself and the LA Lakers.
The young player signed a three-year, $32 million dollar contract this past offseason as the Lakers are assembling one of the biggest super teams in recent years. Their “Big 3” is LeBron, Davis, and Westbrook. Then you have guys like THT, Monk, Drummond, Howard, and different guys like that.
The third-year wing player has been leading the way for the Lakers, scoring-wise, 12 points per game. He is the second-leading-scorer on that team currently and it doesn’t look like his pace is going to slow down when he is able to get back on that court.
Notable injuries for the LakeShow:
Ariza underwent surgery on his right ankle when he injured it some time ago; his timeline is stating to be two months, give or take. Monk, on the other hand, is dealing with a right groin strain and he will be reevaluated in the upcoming week.
While these injuries are bad for the Lakers, they do have tons of players that can fill the depth charts quite nicely. Depth is something that they have and it looks like they will never run into any trouble featuring their depth chart and/or active roster.
We will keep this topic going when more information is given in the future.
