Creighton’s head coach OUT due to COVID-19! It has been announced by the school’s athletic department that their head coach, Greg McDermott, tested positive for the Coronavirus and will not be with the team again.

McDermott missed Monday’s practice, then what was considered a “minor medical procedure” saw him apart of Tuesday’s practice. However, that practice could be considered a limited practice for the 57-year-old.

Then when it came time for Wednesday’s win over St. Johns, he sat on the bench. Now, three days laters Creighton fans (and their players) will not be seeing him. Hopefully he is able to rejoin the team soon. Until then, the team will be plowing through without McDermott.
