Terry Stotts Steps Down As Bucks Assistant Coach

In a shocking move, it was revealed that former Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts has stepped down from his role within Milwaukee.

After taking two years off from coaching, he returned and signed with the Bucks to be a part of new coach Adrian Griffin’s staff. However, Stotts will not be a part of this team a week before the regular season begins.

It is unclear who Griffin will replace Stotts with, but this was not a move many saw coming. It’s still unknown as to why he stepped down, it may be an answer fans won’t know for a while.

“He was a terrific guy. I learned a lot from him in a very short time,” Griffin said, via The Athletic. “He was really good at what he does. He made a decision, a personal decision, and we just have to respect that.”
